One day, as usual, the girl was sewing. Out of habit, she held a button in her mouth. At the same time, she was talking to her mother and at that moment, while humming her favorite song, she took a deep breath, choked, started convulsing and coughing violently.
The whole family began rushing around the house in panic.
The seamstress stopped breathing and her heart stopped.
When her mother and other relatives came to the sewing machines, it became clear to everyone what had happened: the button had gone into her windpipe and access to oxygen was blocked.
The girl quickly turned blue and, unfortunately, the medical facility was far away.
When she was taken there, the doctor said the young woman could not be saved and died.
The cause was strangulation.
A day later, the funeral took place. The girl was laid in a coffin, beautifully dressed. The family left a ring on her finger. As was the custom, a wake was held after the funeral. This event was interrupted by a knock on the door…
When the door was opened, the deceased appeared in the doorway. The guests were stunned, someone fainted.
Dirty, she could barely stand. Mother’s heart almost stopped at the surprise. The «resurrected deceased» was fed, dressed and sent to rest.
The next day, she told us how she managed to get out of the grave.
The button didn’t cut off all her oxygen. The girl was barely breathing, her brain was working, but she could give no sign that she was alive.
It was the gold ring the crooks saw.
They dug up the grave and removed the ring. That wasn’t enough for them, they wanted to remove the dress as well. Turning the «deceased» on her back to remove her clothes, they helped her remove the button. The poor woman began to breathe.
Unexpectedly, two of the thieves died on the spot and two others were detained by the police.
